Gistr runs on AI credits. Every AI action — questions, summaries, Smart Guide prompts, Auto Highlight — uses credits. You get credits with every plan; you spend them as you use Gistr.

There are two ways to get more credits: a monthly subscription or one-time passes.

The Free Plan

Every Gistr account starts free.

The free plan is built so you can use Gistr seriously every day without paying — but heavy AI workflows (multi-source synthesis, lots of Auto Highlight runs) will move you to a paid plan.

💡 TIP: Prices shown are inclusive of applicable taxes. Use a one-time pass when you have a deadline week (research push, exam prep) and don't need ongoing premium access.
