Get started with Gistr by creating a free account. You can sign up using your email address, Google account, or Apple ID — whichever works best for you.

Before You Begin

Gistr works on any modern web browser. No download required to get started. Head to gistr.so and click Create Account in the top-right corner to open the sign-up page.

Three Ways to Sign Up

Email

No password needed.

Gistr sends a one-time verification code to your email each time you sign in.

  • Enter your email address and click Continue with email.

  • Check your inbox for a one-time verification code from Gistr.

  • Enter the code on the verification screen.

  • You're in — Gistr takes you straight to your workspace.

The code typically arrives within a minute. Check spam or promotions if you don't see it. Every future sign-in uses this same flow — no password to set or remember.

Google

One-click sign-up with your Google account.

  • Click Continue with Google on the sign-up page.

  • Choose the Google account you'd like to use with Gistr.

  • Grant any permissions Gistr requests to complete sign-in.

  • You'll be taken directly to your Gistr workspace.

Tip: Using the same Google account you use for day-to-day work keeps things consistent.

Apple ID

  • Click Continue with Apple on the sign-up page.

  • Sign in with your Apple ID when prompted.

  • Choose whether to share your real email or use Apple's Hide My Email option.

  • Complete any Face ID, Touch ID, or two-factor verification Apple requires.

  • You'll be taken to your Gistr workspace once verified.

If you choose to hide your email, Gistr receives a private relay address. This works fine — just make sure to use the same Apple sign-in option each time you log back in.

By signing up with any method, you agree to Gistr's Terms of Service and acknowledge that you've read the Privacy Policy. These are shown at the bottom of the sign-up screen before you proceed.
