Five things to know before you start.

  1. Sources

Sources are what you learn from.
Drop in an article, a PDF, a YouTube video, a podcast — anything you want to study or reference. Gistr keeps the full content so you can search, highlight, and ask questions against it later.

  2. Threads

    Threads are where you think.
Open a source on one side, write your notes on the other. Each Thread is a focused workspace for one topic — read, annotate, and build understanding in a single view.

  3. Collections

    Collections keep things organized.
Group related Threads into a Collection — by project, course, research area, or however you work. Think of them as folders for your thinking.

  4. Gistr AI

AI that stays grounded in your sources. Ask questions, get summaries, or pull out key ideas — and every answer links back to the exact passage it came from. No hallucinated facts, just your content.

  5. Your account

Everything about you lives here. Update your profile, switch languages, manage your plan and AI credits, or connect integrations — all from one settings page.
